Jumeirah palm
Dubai region
Palm Jumeirah is an artificial island located on the shores of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, created by the development company Nakheel. Included in the "Palm Islands".
Palm Jumeirah is the smallest and most original of the three islands (Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jabal Ali, Palm Deira). It is an artificial island in the form of a palm tree, consisting of a trunk, 16 leaves and a crescent surrounding the island, which is an 11-kilometer breakwater. The size of the island is 5 kilometers by 5 kilometers and its total area is more than 800 football fields. The island is connected to the mainland by a 300-meter bridge, and the crescent moon is connected to the top of the palm by an underwater tunnel.
